She received her PhD in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in trauma from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs, and completed her internship with a primary rotation on the PTSD Clinical Team at the VA Boston Healthcare System. She is interested in trauma-informed exercise as an intervention for PTSD and TBI, as well as how intersecting mental and physical health factors influence recovery among individuals with histories of intimate partner and sexual violence.
