M​y research involves cognitive neuroscience methods​​ and neuroimaging in particular. Using MRI, I study brain ​structure and ​function in individuals with cardio-metabolic syndrome as part of Dr. Elizabeth Leritz's R01 study, which examines neuroimaging and neuropsychological biomarkers of vascular risk factors. Furthermore, I am interested in multimodal analysis methods to explore and account for vascular vs neural contributions to the BOLD signal with the aim to improve the reliability and validity of fMRI in populations with vascular problems.
