Shira is a Biomedical Engineer with the Neuroimaging Research for Veterans Center (NeRVe). She joined the team in June 2022 after graduating with a B.E. in Biomedical Engineering from Vanderbilt University and primarily assists with the MRI data acquisition, processing, and analysis. At TRACTS, Shira is interested in using neuroimaging to characterize brain function, particularly in the context of trauma and neurodegenerative disease. Outside the lab, Shira enjoys travelling, baking themed treats, and exploring Boston’s café scene.
