Tyler joined the TRACTS team in September 2024 as a postdoctoral fellow with an interest brain aging, translational research, and epigenetics. He completed his PhD at Louisiana State University before working with the Cranium lab at the Rotman Research Institute in Toronto. With TRACTS, Tyler is examining relationships between traumatic brain injury, microstructural and microvascular decline, and epigenetic markers in the aging brain. Outside work, Tyler also enjoys experimenting with cooking, games, and science fiction.
